Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will support daily administrative operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient office environment. Your proactive approach will help maintain organization, facilitate communication, and contribute to the overall productivity of our workplace. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your administrative skills while working in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

Manage front desk duties, including greeting visitors and answering phone calls with professional etiquette
Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office applications, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
Organize and maintain files, records, and office supplies to ensure accessibility and orderliness
Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and calendar management for team members
Support clerical tasks such as photocopying, scanning, mailing, and preparing documents
Handle incoming correspondence and direct inquiries appropriately
Support team members with various administrative projects to enhance office efficiency

Experience

Prior office experience or administrative experience is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated learners eager to grow
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets), and data entry software
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Demonstrated phone etiquette and professional communication skills
Basic typing skills with attention to accuracy and speed
Familiarity with Sage or similar accounting software is a plus but not mandatory
Ability to adapt quickly in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
