Due to the growth of our scheme, Home-Start Crawley, Horsham and Mid-Sussex are looking to recruit:
· Family & Volunteer Co-ordinator (15 hrs pw)
Note: the contract will initially be fixed for 12 months with a view to extend subject to funding.
Home-Start is the UK’s leading family support charity. We are a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families with at least one child under five years of age.
Family & Volunteer Co-ordinator:
You will be responsible for:
· recruiting, training, supervising, and supporting our team of volunteers
· processing family referrals and assessing the family’s needs
· providing the right match of volunteer to family and supervising the ongoing support
· integrating support with other agencies where needed
You will need:
- NVQ level 3 or relevant professional experience
- sound knowledge of working with parents and their young children
- proven experience of providing supervision
- experience of parenting
- use of a car to enable visiting families
We will offer you:
· flexible hybrid working over 3 days (home/office/community)
· salary £11,918 (£29,399 FTE)
· paid mileage
