Front of House Restaurant Team Member

The Inn at Àird a' Bhàsair – Ardvasar, Isle of Skye

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and hardworking Front of House Team Member to join our team at The Inn at Àird a' Bhàsair, a busy hotel, bar, and restaurant overlooking the stunning Sound of Sleat on the Isle of Skye.

If you enjoy providing excellent customer service, working as part of a close-knit team, and creating memorable dining experiences for guests from around the world, we'd love to hear from you.

Duties & Responsibilities

Welcome and seat guests in a warm and professional manner.
Take food and drink orders accurately using our EPOS system.
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, including alcoholic beverages.
Set up and clear restaurant tables.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the restaurant and bar areas.
Restock cutlery, crockery, condiments, and service stations.
Assist with breakfast, lunch, and evening service.
Process payments accurately.
Answer guest enquiries and provide information about the hotel and local area.
Help maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Follow all food hygiene, licensing, health & safety, and company procedures.

What We're Looking For

Previous hospitality or restaurant experience preferred but not essential.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work under pressure.
Well presented with a professional appearance.
Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
A team player with a strong work ethic.
