Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter / Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment, supporting food preparation and ensuring a hygienic workspace. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in hospitality, culinary arts, or restaurant operations to gain valuable experience in a professional setting. The position is fully paid and suitable for those eager to develop their skills within the hospitality industry. APPLICANTS MUST BE AGED OVER 18yrs , HAVE TRANSPORT TO TASSAGH AND BE ABLE TO HET HOME SAFELY LATE AT NIGHT, MUST BE ABLE TO WORK THURSDAY THROUGH TO SUNDAY

Responsibilities

Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently
Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as required
Ensuring the cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment
Organising storage areas and disposing of waste appropriately
Supporting chefs and kitchen staff with their daily routines
Maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in line with health regulations
Restocking supplies and ensuring the kitchen remains well-organised throughout service periods

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality is advantageous but not essential
Experience working in restaurants, hotels, or catering environments is desirable
Knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within a team environment
