Job Title: Production Assistant - Vehicle wrap/signage

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Lofthouse, Wakefield

We are looking for a production assistant/lead.

We are a small but growing business with a plan to continue the growth. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and be comfortable dealing with customers. An eye for detail is essential and graphic design skills are preferred.

A candidate with experience is preferred although training will be provided to the right candidate if they are new to the role.

We pride ourselves on a relaxed atmosphere in the workplace and maintain an environment that people enjoy working.

Duties:

Create artwork according to customer requirements.
Prepare artwork for production.
Print and cut vinyls on our Mimaki and Graphtec machines.
Laminate printed vinyls and applying application tape to cut vinyls.
Plan jobs, working with customers and our installation team to schedule work.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Follow safety policies and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Stock Management.
Basic vinyl installation.
Assist management in other related duties.

Experience preferred but not essential:

Previous experience in the signage/vehicle graphics industry.
Familiarity with software such as flexisign (or similar), Photoshop and Illustrator.
Good knowledge of vinyls and materials.
Ability to maintain and clean the machines.
