Duties:
- Assist in the maintenance and care of plants in the nursery
-- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the greenhouse and nursery area
- Use hand tools to perform tasks such as pruning, planting, and potting
- Assist with watering, fertilizing,
- Help with inventory management and tracking of plant stock
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
-Must love plants and be interested in more unusual varieties of herbaceous plants
- Experience working in a greenhouse or nursery setting is preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in gardening and plant care
- Basic math skills for inventory management and measurements
- Knowledge of plant growing techniques and care practices is a plus
