Your working hours

10 hours per week. Shifts to be discussed at interview.

Enhanced pay: £1.00 per hour will only apply to night working (8pm Monday to 7am Friday) and weekend working (8pm Friday to 7am Monday). This does not apply to Sleep-Ins.

What you’ll do

As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you’ll play a key role in helping customers maximise their mobility, independence, and wellbeing. Under the direction of the Physiotherapist, you will:

Assist with physiotherapy sessions and safe moving, handling, and transfer techniques
Support customers in using equipment such as standing frames, tilt tables, and mobility aids
Carry out passive exercises as instructed by the Physiotherapist
Promote physical activity using tailored exercise plans
Support with daily living tasks such as personal care, mealtimes, and medication
Assist with hydrotherapy sessions where used, including poolside setup, cleanliness checks, and safe customer entry/exit
Maintain accurate person-centred records and contribute to assessments and reviews
Encourage independence and communicate effectively with customers, families, and professionals
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements
