The Drayton Surgery has an exciting opportunity for 2 Care Navigators to join our busy team based in Reception.
The successful candidates should have previous customer service experience, (experience of working in a GP Surgery is a bonus) or be used to dealing with people.
Joining our busy Reception team, you will act as the initial point of contact for all queries coming in to the surgery via telephone, in person and over eConsult.
You need to have an excellent telephone manner, be confident and courteous and act as someone our patients will be happy to deal with.
You will be dealing with patient enquiries, appointment requests and general reception style duties as well as learning and adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures set by the Reception Manager and Senior Receptionist team.
The positions will be part time at 16 hours. The positions are not school hours or term time only. The position hours are non negotiable.
The Drayton Surgery is a 24,500 patient surgery in the north of Portsmouth. We have a main site in Drayton and a branch surgery in the heart of Cosham and this role will be required to work over both sites.
As well as great team to work with, this post will attract NHS pension and 5 weeks annual leave (pro-rata for part time workers) as well as a bike-to-work scheme.
The rate of pay for this position is fixed at £12.71 per hour with a 6 months probationary period, rate of pay will then increase to £13.08.

Monday AM 7:30-13:30
Thursday PM 13.30-18.30
Friday PM 13.30-18.30
Position 2
Monday PM 13:30-18:30
Tuesday PM 13:30-18:30
Friday PM 13:00-19:00
