Overview
As an Area Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and delivering tailored fleet technology solutions to commercial clients across multiple industries.
You'll spend the majority of your time meeting customers face-to-face, managing your own sales pipeline, and closing profitable business.
Duties
- Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold calling.
- Arrange and attend face-to-face customer meetings.
- Demonstrate video telematics, vehicle tracking, dash cameras, and fleet management solutions.
- Build long-term relationships with fleet operators and decision-makers.
- Prepare quotations and proposals tailored to customer requirements.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract completion.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technology.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Proven B2B field sales experience.
- Strong new business development skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Self-motivated with a hunter mentality.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to manage your own diary and territory.
