Job Overview

Are you passionate about hospitality and events?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual looking to start a career in the wedding and events industry to join our Weddings & Events Administration team.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, providing essential administrative support while engaging with clients and suppliers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and strong organisational abilities.
This opportunity is perfect for individuals eager to gain skills in events industry.

Duties

The successful candidate will assist the Weddings & Events team with a variety of day-to-day tasks including,

Answering telephones
Responding to new event enquiries
Preparing viewing information packs
Preparing signs and stationary for the events
Support the preparation of event materials, schedules
Manage booking systems and maintain accurate records of event details and client information
Handle administrative tasks such as answering queries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining organised files
Other ad-hoc event assistant duties

Requirements

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work well within a team and independently when necessary

This role offers a rewarding environment for motivated individuals eager to start their career within the events or hospitality sectors.

Days of the Week
Monday to Friday (9am - 1pm)

Job Type: 6-month initial contract term

Pay: £13.00 per hour for over 21’s

Hours potentially are also available on the weekend on the event floor

Experience

Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel)
Demonstrated organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining high standards of work quality.
