Full job description

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Baker to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality cakes, tray bakes, and freshly baked bread, with a strong eye for detail and consistency.

About the Role
You will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of products, ensuring everything is made to the highest standard. From classic sponge cakes and indulgent tray bakes to artisan breads, you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional product offering.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a range of cakes, tray bakes, and breads from scratch
Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and taste across all products
Follow recipes while also contributing ideas for new creations
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment
Manage stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients
Work efficiently to meet daily production targets

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a baker or pastry chef
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, particularly in cakes and bread
A passion for quality ingredients and creative baking
Ability to work early mornings and in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and time management
A team player with a positive attitude
