We are seeking a weekend friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their shopping needs
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked and organised
- Assist customers with product information and answer queries effectively
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, including handling cash and card payments
- Manage phone enquiries professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Keep the sales floor clean, tidy, and organised throughout the shift
- Support inventory management by conducting stock checks and assisting with stock replenishment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Ability to demonstrate organisational skills through maintaining tidy displays and stock levels
- Good phone etiquette and professional demeanour when interacting with customers via phone or in person
- Ability to sell products confidently while prioritising customer satisfaction
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
