We currently have several exciting opportunities for skilled and enthusiastic craftsmen to join our production team, working in our busy, Derby-based factory. Currently we are hiring for a number of positions, including Bench Joiners.
About the Role
With market-leading campervans and high standards, we need experienced Bench Joiners/Cabinet Makers to join our highly skilled team. Based in our factory workshop and specialising in building the furniture kits for our campervans, this role will include the following:
- Manufacturing campervan furniture to specific measurements and requirements per our build process.
- Operating workshop machinery and hand tools with confidence.
- Assembling, sanding and finishing the product to a high standard.
- Working independently and as part of a team to deliver onetime.
- Working closely with other factory departments to ensure quality, customer satisfaction and that projects are completed on time.
The Ideal Candidate
Full training on our build process and the standards that we hold ourselves to will be provided; however, the ideal candidate would possess the following:
- Proven experience in bench joinery and/or cabinet making.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in their craftsmanship.
- The ability to work from technical drawings where required.
- A workshop-based, manufacturing background.
- An ability to work to a deadline, either on their own or as part of a team.
- Is reliable, punctual and takes ownership of their work.
- Use/knowledge of CNC machines
Pay & Benefits
- Starting pay £29,120.00 per annum (pro rata, per annum)
- 40-hour basic week with early Friday finish
- Overtime paid
- Permanent role
- 3% employer pension contribution
