Senior Account Development Manager

£50,000 - £60,000 + £15,000 - £20,000+ commission | Cambridge | Hybrid

An established business. A strong client base. A new phase of commercial growth.

We're partnering with an established marketing technology business that's investing in the next stage of its growth, developing new digital products, solutions and routes to market.

They're now looking for a Senior Account Development Manager to play a key role in that growth.

This isn't about inheriting a narrow patch and selling the same product repeatedly. You'll have access to relationships across 350+ CPG manufacturers, working with some of the UK's leading consumer brands to uncover opportunities, develop solutions and turn those relationships into meaningful commercial growth.

You'll also have the freedom to identify and win completely new clients.

The opportunity

You'll work directly with Brand, Shopper Marketing, Consumer Care and commercial stakeholders, understanding what they're trying to achieve and bringing together the right marketing, promotional and digital solutions to help them get there.

Deal sizes vary significantly. One week you could close a fast-moving tactical opportunity, while another conversation could develop into a six-figure strategic partnership.

You'll own the process from the initial conversation through to proposal, negotiation and close, with the autonomy to build your own relationships and commercial pipeline. The underlying brief places particular emphasis on independent working, commercial judgement and developing strategic client relationships.

What you'll be taking on

£150k approx. quarterly revenue target
£500 to £500k+ opportunity values
1 week to 6-9 month sales cycles
350+ existing CPG relationships to develop
Existing account growth + new client acquisition

You'll work closely with marketing, lead generation and campaign delivery teams, while also having access to international relationships and expertise across the wider business.

Who we're looking for

We're fairly open-minded about where you've built your career.

You could currently be working within Retail Media, MarTech, AdTech, Shopper Marketing, Loyalty, Digital Media, Marketing Communications, Customer Analytics or FMCG.

What's more important is that you've built a strong track record in consultative B2B sales, can develop senior client relationships and are comfortable owning the full commercial cycle and delivering against revenue targets.

You'll probably enjoy this role if you're someone who likes being given the space to operate, spotting opportunities others haven't seen and turning client conversations into commercially valuable relationships.

Package & location

£50,000 - £60,000 basic
£15,000 - £20,000+ commission based on performance
Hybrid working | Cambridge
