Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust (KCHFT) is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Dietitian to join our Community Dietetics Adults Team. If you are currently a Band 5 dietitian seeking to progress in your career but do not yet have all the relevant experience, we are pleased to be able to offer this as a 6 months development opportunity as a Band 5 - progressing to a Band 6 role once relevant competencies are met by the end of the 6 month period.
Based at Trinity House, Ashford, this role offers a varied and rewarding workload across community settings, where you can see the real difference your dietetic advice makes to patients’ lives.
The post is full time, with flexible and part time working considered.
Delivering face‑to‑face outpatient clinics
Undertaking home visits to support patients in their own homes
Running virtual clinics and virtual care home clinics , including remote working from home where appropriate
Managing a varied community caseload and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Contributing to and delivering patient group education sessions
Participating in service development and quality improvement (QI) projects
