Job Overview:
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for interpreting information package to assemble and produce products. Read and interpret blueprints, position parts., You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. You will use your hands or machines to do the job with greater precision. You must have good technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity. Ability to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics etc. and follow them with precision. Goal is to produce complex product by putting together smaller components.
Responsibilities:
- Follow assembly instructions and blueprints.
- Listen to directions from supervisors.
- Positions parts and subassemblies.
- Interpret measurements.
- Verify specifications.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions as needed.
- Ensure working environment is clean and safe.
- Report errors to supervisor.
- Work with other assemblers to create a final product
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with standard power and hand tools
