Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a Room Leader to join our team in providing high-quality care and education to young children. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a passion for early childhood development.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of nursery staff in delivering engaging activities and educational programmes
- Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times
- Implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum effectively
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being
- Manage the nursery room's daily operations, including maintaining a safe and stimulating environment
- Support staff in planning and delivering age-appropriate learning experiences

Requirements
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff
- Strong leadership abilities to lead and motivate a team of nursery staff
- Time management skills to organise daily activities and routines efficiently
- Previous experience in a nursery setting or early years education is desirable
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities would be advantageous for effective communication with diverse families
