We are seeking an experienced and motivated Digital Innovation & AI Apprenticeship Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in Digital and AI, demonstrate excellent assessment practice, and play a key role in enhancing the quality of our programmes.

- Take ownership of a dynamic caseload, managing and motivating learners to succeed
- Influence quality and continuous improvement,
If you can demonstrate the following then we’d love to hear from you:
- Possess Digital/AI occupational competence and qualifications up to Degree level in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- A Teaching qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, AET/CET/DET)
- TAQA Assessors &/or IQA qualification or equivalent i.e. A1/D32/D33/V1/D34 (desirable)
- Strong knowledge of AI fundamentals, data literacy, automation tools and digital technologies
- Understanding of digital workplace systems, cloud technologies or AI‑enabled tools
- Knowledge of current industry AI trends, ethics, governance and emerging technologies
- Knowledge of Digital apprenticeship standards and the requirements for EPA (desirable)
- Be willing to travel both local and out of area
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Be highly proficient in IT, with the agility to quickly learn and utilise new systems

College location: Based at our Ore Valley Campus – however this role is flexible in terms of hybrid working, where applicable.
Annual salary: Circa £40,000 – Willing to discuss salary expectations based on qualifications, skills and experience.
Hours: Full time – 37 hours/52.14 weeks
