QuickSource Group is a growing recruitment business specialising in the Built Environment, Facilities Maintenance, M&E, HVAC, Renewable Energy and wider Engineering sectors.
We are now looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join us and learn the full recruitment process from the ground up. This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident, hard-working, organised and wants to build a long-term career in recruitment.
You do not need previous recruitment experience. We are more interested in your attitude, communication skills, work ethic and willingness to learn.
The Role
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will be trained to support with candidate sourcing, phone calls, screening, job matching, interview arranging and client/candidate follow-up.
You will work closely with the Directors of the business and learn how recruitment works day to day, including how to speak with candidates, understand technical job roles, manage vacancies and support the wider recruitment process.
Responsibilities
- Sourcing candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, CRM systems and internal databases
- Speaking with candidates over the phone to understand their experience, location, salary expectations and job preferences
- Screening CVs and identifying suitable candidates for live vacancies
- Writing candidate notes and keeping the CRM updated
- Supporting with interview arrangements and candidate follow-ups
- Learning how to approach and build relationships with candidates
- Helping to maintain candidate pipelines for roles across FM, M&E, HVAC, Electrical, Commercial Gas and Engineering
- Working towards activity targets and developing into a confident recruitment consultant
- Supporting the Directors with day-to-day recruitment tasks

- Previous sales, customer service, retail, hospitality or phone-based experience would be useful, but is not essential
