SEND Teach is a boutique Special Needs Tutoring and Advocacy business, designed to provide a guiding light to support families to navigate the often ambiguous and challenging SEN system.
SEND Teach aims to provide a holistic, co-ordinated approach to improve outcomes for children with SEND and their families by providing in-home tutoring, alongside support with EHCP applications and reviews, school searches and SEND Tribunal Appeals.

We're looking for an experience SEND tutor with a passion for supporting learners with Special Educational Needs.
The role:
- Face to face tutoring for a 15 year old learner with additional needs.
- September 2026 start
- 10 hours a week
- Deliver engaging lessons to students
- Work your way! Plan and deliver sessions how you see fit, at times that suit you.
- Prepare lesson materials and assessments
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with pupils and parents
- Provide regular updates on progress
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status OR experienced SEND professional
- 6+ years SEND experience
- Qualifications up to degree level or beyond
- Passion for creating and delivering an individualised and engaging curriculum
- Excellent communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
Experience in:
- Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
- Severe learning disability (SLD)
- Autism and ADHD
- Intensive Interaction
- Symbol communication / aided language boards
- Sensory learning and outdoor learning approaches
- Supporting non-speaking learners
