The Physiotherapy Team at Wansbeck General hospital are seeking to appoint a clerical officer .
The successful candidate will be based within the Physiotherapy Department at Wansbeck General Hospital but may be expected to provide cover at other sites within the Trust.

The post holder will be responsible for general administrative tasks, which will include operating our busy telephone system dealing with telephone queries, as well as a looking after a busy reception area and booking patient appointments.
The administrative team also provide support to in-patient and out-patient physiotherapy teams.
The post holder will need to demonstrate excellent communications skills.

To provide administration and clerical support to the physiotherapy service, working under the supervision of a senior secretary &/or Superintendent Physiotherapist.
To provide clerical support to the superintendent(s) and clinical teams.
To work within the reception area liaising with other admin staff, patients, therapists and assistants to ensure efficient running of the administrative and appointment systems within the physiotherapy department.
