Ellesmere Linen Hire are looking to employ a dedicated and enthusiastic laundry worker/relief delivery driver, to work in an industrial laundry setting and be a relief driver to do daily deliveries to the hotel and restaurant industry when required. Immediate Start!
Main duties
- To working on laundry production machines in a fast paced environment.
- To carry out a variety of different tasks including feeding linen into machines, catching and packing of linen.
- Inspecting the quality of clean laundered linen.
- The candidate must have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Be able to work with and contribute as part a team.
- To load/unload van with laundry when required.
- Make deliveries of linen/laundry to specified restaurants/hotels within the North East, as a relief driver
- To complete weekly van checks and maintain cleanliness of van
- To deal with customers in a friendly, courteous and helpful manner and maintain customer confidentiality at all times
The applicant must be 25 years or over due to the insurance policy, be flexible on start times and have the flexibility to do overtime as and when required.
The applicant must be honest, reliable and trustworthy.
A full UK manual driving license is essential.
Wages are paid weekly direct into bank account.
