We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Senior Care Assistant for Nights to join our team at Brockfield House, Stanwick Northants NN9 6QQ.
Qualifications: Minimum of NVQ3 in Health and Social Care must also have experience of working in the care setting and experience with Dementia
Brockfield House looks after and cares for 45 residents mainly with Dementia that present some challenging behavior.

Principle accountabilities
- Supervising of care assistants in ensuring the planned care is delivered consistently and appropriately, facilitating rehabilitation and maximising independence with attention to the physical, mental, social and spiritual needs of the resident
- Reporting on and feeding back any relevant issues to the Registered Nurse on each resident’s care during each shift, particularly where issues affect the health, safety or welfare of the resident.
- Maintaining excellent working relationships with the resident, their family, and visiting professionals; dealing with all telephone calls politely and efficiently..
- Attending training sessions as agreed and required to maintain currency of knowledge and practice.
- Being particularly vigilant in the prevention of abuse, ensuring that all staff are fully aware of their responsibilities in this respect
