We are now looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Skin & Facial Specialist to join our team and help develop our growing facial and advanced skincare services.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable and confident skin specialist who enjoys working independently and taking ownership of their clients' skincare journey.
You will be encouraged to use your own initiative and professional expertise to assess clients' individual needs, recommend appropriate treatments and homecare, and create personalised treatment plans designed to achieve the best possible results.
As this is a self-employed position, we are looking for someone who is proactive, professional and comfortable building strong, long-term relationships with clients.
Working days and hours can be flexible and discussed to suit both parties.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality professional facials and advanced skincare treatments.
- Perform treatments such as microneedling, chemical peels and advanced facial therapies confidently and safely.
- Conduct thorough skin consultations and develop personalised treatment plans based on individual skin concerns and goals.
- Recommend suitable skincare products, treatments and homecare routines.
- Monitor clients' progress and adapt treatment plans where appropriate.
- Provide a luxurious, professional and results-focused client experience from consultation through to aftercare.
- Explain treatments, expected results and aftercare clearly and confidently.
- Maintain accurate client treatment records and progress notes.
- Maintain excellent hygiene, cleanliness and treatment-room standards.
- Keep up to date with developments in professional skincare, ingredients, products and treatment techniques.
- Help us develop and grow our specialist facial and skincare offering.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Skin Therapist, Facialist, Aesthetician or Advanced Beauty Therapist within a professional salon, spa or skin clinic.
- Strong practical experience in advanced facial treatments, particularly microneedling and chemical peels.
- Experience and knowledge of Korean Glass Facial treatments and Golki Massage would be highly desirable.
- Excellent understanding of skin types, skin concerns, skincare ingredients and treatment protocols.
- Confident in carrying out detailed consultations and creating personalised treatment programmes.
- Passionate about skincare and achieving visible, realistic results for clients.
- Excellent communication and client-care skills.
- Professional, reliable and well presented.
- Able to work independently and use your own initiative.
- Friendly and collaborative, with the ability to work well alongside the wider salon team.
- Motivated to develop a loyal client base and grow within the salon.
