Job Purpose
The TikTok Live Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day running of Candy's Cupcakes' TikTok LIVE team, ensuring every LIVE session runs smoothly, presenters feel supported and our customers receive an excellent experience.
Working closely with the Directors, you will motivate and coach the team, help drive sales performance and ensure our TikTok LIVE operation continues to grow. This is a hands-on role, and you will be expected to lead by example by presenting on TikTok LIVE when required to provide training or cover planned and unplanned absences.
Key Responsibilities
Team Support & Leadership
- Support, motivate and coach the TikTok LIVE presenter team.
- Prepare and maintain the weekly rota, ensuring all scheduled LIVE shifts are covered.
- Arrange cover for holidays and sickness where possible.
- Welcome and support new team members during their induction and training.
- Hold regular one-to-one catch-ups with presenters to provide feedback and support.
- Report any ongoing performance or conduct concerns to the Directors.
- Record sickness, annual leave and attendance accurately.
TikTok LIVE Operations
- Ensure all TikTok LIVE sessions are ready to start on time.
- Monitor LIVE performance and sales throughout the day.
- Encourage presenters to achieve sales targets through coaching and support.
- Share ideas to improve LIVE engagement and sales performance.
- Present on TikTok LIVE when required to cover shifts or support training.
Customer Service
- Respond to customer enquiries through online chat and social media.
- Resolve day-to-day customer queries and refund requests professionally.
- Escalate complex customer issues to the Directors when necessary.
Team Communication
- Attend weekly management meetings.
- Share feedback from the presenter team with the Directors.
- Communicate business updates, promotions and product launches to the team.
- Work closely with the Kitchen Manager and Operations Manager to ensure the business runs smoothly.
Person Specification
Essential
- Experience using TikTok LIVE or other live-selling platforms.
- Confident presenting on camera.
- Experience supervising, coaching or supporting a team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Positive, enthusiastic and approachable.
- Able to motivate others and lead by example.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible and willing to adapt as the business grows.
Desirable
- Experience using TikTok Shop.
- Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or e-commerce.
- Experience working towards sales targets.
