Full job description

CMP is a specialist professional services business focused on workplace dispute resolution, employee relations and personal development. We are seeking a Compliance Officer to work across the business to support employee and associate recruitment, onboarding, engagement, compliance, resourcing and office administration along with information security compliance.

The post holder will work with internal teams, associates and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Head of People and Talent with HR compliance requirements, including accurate record keeping and tracking mandatory documentation for employees and associates.
Support day-to-day office administration, including monitoring, ordering and maintaining office supplies.

Associate Support

Support with associate recruitment activity, including interview administration, managing initial applications and assessments and preparing recruitment data.
Responsible for onboarding processes, including BPSS checks, documentation, inductions, contract administration and security clearance support.
Responsible for associate compliance, including conducting periodic reviews, collating feedback, quality data, skills information and follow-up actions.
Provide support for associate quality assurance and supervision processes and help plan networking activities.
Support with monitoring resourcing needs and address gaps in the associate pool.
Respond to day-to-day associate queries regarding compliance and manage the associate hub.
Coordinate offboarding processes, including data clean-up in line with retention requirements and Microsoft account closure.

Information Security Support

Act as the first point of contact for all information security related queries for internal staff and associates

Support:

With administration and maintenance of the Information Security Management System
the Information Security Manager and Information Security Lead to ensure security related actions have an owner and are recorded/updated in a timely way on the organisation’s project management software
the Information Security Manager to progress security related tasks as required, including proactively asking stakeholders for information and updates
the Information Security Manager in ensuring the Information Security Management System achieves its intended outcome(s)

Communicate, promote and drive the importance of:

effective information security management
meeting the security objectives of the company
adhering to the Information Security Management System requirements
continual improvement
Deputise for the Information Security Manager and Information Security Lead

Compliance - Company Policies & Procedures

Adhering to and working in accordance with agreed Company policies, procedures and practice, inclusive of Health & Safety at Work requirements and Equal Opportunities.
Ensuring compliance with our Information Security policies, identifying if/when stakeholders need additional support to remain compliant with ISO27001 and CE/CE+.
Adhering to company brand in all correspondence and materials delivered by the company, by applying consistent, marketing-approved templates for all activities.
To comply and work within CMP’s behavioural framework.

In carrying out these duties the post holder will:

Undertake any other duties reasonably required by the line manager or senior leadership team.

Person Specification

Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role
High levels of integrity, discretion and professionalism
Strong ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with great attention to detail
Ability to identify, assess and mitigate risk
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Confident communicator with a professional approach to stakeholders
Confident using virtual meeting platforms such Microsoft Teams

Pay: £26,250.00-£28,250.00 per year
