Full job description

NSH Developments Ltd is a well-established building contractor based in Diss, Norfolk. We undertake a wide range of projects including domestic extensions, barn conversions, renovations and one-off new build homes for private clients. We travel up to 1hr from Diss.

We are looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our growing team. This is a varied role working on high-quality residential projects where attention to detail and a pride in your workmanship are essential.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of internal and external painting and decorating to a high standard, ensuring a quality finish that meets our clients' expectations.

Duties will include:

Surface preparation including filling, sanding and priming.
Interior and exterior painting.
Wallpaper hanging (desirable but not essential).
Woodwork finishing including doors, skirting and architraves.
Applying stains, varnishes and specialist coatings where required.
Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe.
Working alongside site managers, tradespeople and subcontractors.
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Painter & Decorator.
Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality finishes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Full UK driving licence required.
