AV Engineer
An exciting opportunity for an entry level engineer to join a growing and innovative engineering company specialising in the design, manufacture, and installation of motion-activated, interactive audio-visual systems. The Role
This is a varied, hands-on position split between the company workshop in Hemel Hempstead and customer sites.
Workshop responsibilities include:
- Assembly of AV systems
- Configuration and testing of video projectors and PCs
- Light engineering tasks
Site-based responsibilities include:
- Assist installations of AV systems
- System handover and client training
- Servicing, fault diagnosis, and component replacement
Occasional overnight travel may be required.
About You
The successful candidate will have a background in electrical or electronic engineering, ideally supported by a good understanding of IT systems. You will be practical, adaptable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Requirements:
- Strong understanding of electrical and/or electronic systems
- Ability to build, install, and service bespoke AV equipment
- Knowledge of MS operating systems and PC architecture
- Good communication skills with a professional, client-facing approach
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Physically fit and capable of hands-on work
- Full UK driving licence
- Located within reasonable commuting distance of Hemel Hempstead

Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
