Job Role Electronics Design Engineer

Partner Electronics – Silverstone
Full-time | Office-based
Minimum 5 years’ experience required

Partner Electronics is looking for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on innovative projects across sectors including medical, consumer, energy, and space, with a clear pathway to progress into a Senior Engineer role.

The Role

You’ll be part of a collaborative hardware and software team, designing and developing electronic and embedded solutions while working closely with clients.

Key Responsibilities

Design electronic and embedded firmware systems
Capture requirements and develop technical solutions
Support client projects and provide technical input
Deliver high-quality, reliable designs

About You

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar electronics design role
Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ambition to grow into a Senior Engineer

Technical Experience

Strong experience in several of the following:

Electronics design across analogue, high-speed digital, low-power, and audio circuits
Wireless technologies, power transfer systems, and network design
EMC design, compliance, and testing
Battery-powered system design and optimisation
PCB design for manufacture, including use of industry-standard CAD tools
Hardware interfaces such as UART/serial, USB, Ethernet, and Bluetooth
Embedded firmware development (bare metal and/or RTOS environments)
Product verification, validation, and approvals processes

Desirable:

Experience with camera systems and video streaming
FPGA/CPLD design and development

Requirements

Relevant engineering degree (or equivalent)
Clear documentation skills
Full driving license and access to a car due to location and some business travel when required.
