Full job description

Clarke Construction Group has been creating beautiful homes and businesses across the North Cotswolds and beyond for over 20 years. Our commitment to excellence is at the forefront of what we do.

We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Painter & Decorator to join our team working on residential and commercial projects across the Cotswolds.

The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, take pride in producing high-quality finishes, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Interior and exterior painting and decorating
Preparing surfaces including sanding, filling, and priming
Applying paint, wallpaper, and decorative finishes to a high standard
Working from site instructions and project specifications
Ensuring work areas are kept clean and tidy
Following all health & safety procedures on site

Requirements:

Previous painting and decorating experience essential
Ability to produce high-quality finishes
Own tools and transport preferred (if subcontractor basis)
Reliable, punctual, and hard-working
Good communication and teamwork skills
