We are a company that has rapidly developed in hemel over the past 12months from beeing just mobile to having a workshop and also offering the mobile mechanic option we take pride in our work and offer dealership quality in our work

If you are experienced we can also offer other packages depending on the experience and work ethic

Holding a driving licence would be an advantage

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical background who are committed to delivering high-quality service and support. The position involves working with a range of tools and technical systems, requiring both technical expertise and excellent customer service skills.

Duties

Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns.
Diagnose faults using schematics and mechanical knowledge, then perform necessary repairs.
Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble, repair, or replace components.
Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals to facilitate accurate repairs.
Perform heavy lifting as required to move or install heavy machinery or parts safely.
Assist in the assembly of new equipment or systems according to specifications.
Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues promptly to minimise downtime.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair status and recommendations clearly.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.

Requirements

Proven experience in mechanical repair or maintenance roles.
Strong understanding of schematics, technical diagrams, and mechanical principles.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes.
Knowledge of equipment repair techniques and preventative maintenance procedures.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical engineering or related fields are desirable but not essential. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who take pride in their technical expertise and enjoy working in a hands-on environment dedicated to quality maintenance and repair services.

Pay: £20,000.00-£40,000.00 per hour
