Full job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development and Improvement Project Manager. You will work alongside Service Managers, Clinical Leads and Operational Teams, as well as Executive and Clinical and Care Directors, Programme Management Office, Commissioners and external stakeholders within the Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin Care Group areas. The purpose of this role is to support the day-to-day management of the Care Group’s Programme Plan and therefore requires a high capability for project planning, complex document production, research and project management competence. You will be an initiative-taking collaborator, dedicated to supporting the provision of high-quality services. You must possess strong organisational skills, be able to deliver objectives within an agreed timeframe, have excellent people and communication skills to maintain effective communication links and have a flexible approach to the evolving needs of the service. You support and facilitate the progress of managing a range of projects across multiple services and agencies, with a strong focus on digital transformation, supporting the NHS priority of moving from analogue to digital and enabling safe, effective and efficient service delivery. It is essential that you have previous NHS experience and knowledge of Service Developments. Establish and manage multiple projects from initiation to closure, monitoring milestones and outcomes, managing risks and issues, recommending modifications to project scope or exception reporting to enable the successful delivery of the project
Ensure effective project closure including benefits realisation, lessons learned and ensuring ongoing operational sustainability To identify opportunities for innovation and transformation to be enabled across services leading to improvements for service users
T o resolve problems that arise during the projects and to escalate any problems that cannot be resolved to the appropriate person or group
To live the values of our organisation and display the key behaviours in all aspects of work
To lead and support projects with a key digital focus, championing digital inclusion and accessibility ensuring changes work for patients/service users, carers and staff with different needs.
