About us
Cosgrove & Cosgrove is a specialist bookkeeping business based in Telford, supporting clients across the UK and USA. We go beyond traditional bookkeeping, providing detailed financial reporting and insight to help our clients understand performance and make better decisions.

We’re growing and looking for someone who can turn financial data into clear, meaningful reporting.

The role
This is a reporting-focused role for someone who is confident working with financial data and presenting it in a way that clients can understand and act on. You’ll take ownership of reporting, forecasting and analysis across multiple clients.

What you’ll be doing

Preparing and maintaining accurate cashflow forecasts
Producing detailed costing and budgeting reports
Creating, reviewing and analysing Profit & Loss reports
Supporting Balance Sheet reporting and reviews
Building and improving Excel-based reporting models
Presenting financial data clearly using graphs and charts
Working directly with clients to explain performance and key trends
Completing bank reconciliations for both UK and US accounts
Processing credit card receipts and reconciling against statements
Processing and reconciling expense claims
Raising sales invoices
Processing supplier invoices through Dext
Supporting some data processing tasks

What we’re looking for

Strong experience using QuickBooks
Advanced Excel skills (essential), including building reports, using formulas and presenting data with graphs and charts
Proven experience with cashflow forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting
Good understanding of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets
Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
Confident communicating financial information to non-financial clients

Nice to have

Experience in management accounts
Experience working with multi-entity or multi-location reporting
Experience working with US-based clients

Other requirements

Own transport required due to location

Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
