Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and versatile General Handyman/woman to undertake a variety of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skill set, including mechanical, electrical, and welding expertise, with the ability to supervise and lead small teams when necessary. This role offers an opportunity to utilise your technical knowledge in a dynamic environment, ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our clients properties. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a proactive attitude and excellent organisational skills.
Responsibilities
- Carty out routine maintenance and repairs on properties, to ensure operational efficiency.
- Perform electrical work including troubleshooting and basic repairs, with knowledge of electricals.
- Install new equipment or systems following technical specifications and safety standards.
- Supervise minor projects or maintenance teams, providing leadership and guidance to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs undertaken, and parts used.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times during all tasks performed.
- Assist with customer service duties related to facility maintenance requests or project updates.
Skills
- Skilled in welding techniques and electrical repair.
- Painting and Decorating
- Joinery (basic or advanced)
- Plumbing (mostly second fix)

- Strong knowledge with experience in general maintenance tasks.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
- Proven supervisory experience with leadership qualities to manage small teams or projects.
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Customer service orientation with a professional approach when liaising with clients or colleagues.

Pay: From £1,800.00 per month
