Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team. The role will be varied and you will need to be adaptable and flexible - there will be opportunities to work within the whole class, teaching small groups and on a 1:1 basis with individual pupils.

Our core purpose is to ensure that everyone at Farnborough is able to say “We Are Proud”, and this remains central to all we do. Our Academy is an exciting place to be. In September 2022, Farnborough was graded as “GOOD” by Ofsted in our first inspection since joining The Spencer Academies Trust.

We received a “GOOD” grading in all areas, including behaviour and attendance, personal development, quality of education and leadership and management. This endorsement was a just reflection of all the hard work, effort and commitment shown by our Academy community over a number of years.

Ofsted states “this school is a warm and happy learning community where everyone can be themselves. Pupils and staff pledge to be proud of the school, and they are. Pupils treat each other with respect and kindness. They laugh and smile. They enjoy positive relationships with staff who know them well.”
