Job Summary
KB Packaging is looking for a reliable, professional Delivery Driver to join our fast growing logistics team. You'll be working across our KB Packaging and Eastwood Express operations, being out on the road every day, providing a professional and positive experience to our customers, with every delivery.
This is a customer facing role, every delivery is an interaction, and an opportunity, this is something we take seriously. Whether it's a quick drop-off or a complex multi-stop run, our customers judge us by the experience they receive. This is a hands-on role driving a Luton van with side curtains and tail lift, with warehouse duties when you're not on the road
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customer locations safely, accurately, and on time
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled times
- Load and unload goods, including manual handling of items up to 25kg
- Ensure all loads are correctly secured for transport
- Obtain delivery confirmations and customer signatures
- Maintain regular communication with Transport Coordinators regarding progress or issues
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance needs
- Keep your vehicle clean and maintain a professional personal appearance at all times
- Assist with warehouse duties when not on the road
- Operate Material Handling Equipment, including counterbalance forklift trucks (full training provided)
- Promote Eastwood Express services to KB Packaging customers where appropriate
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and Health & Safety requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
- Experience driving commercial vehicles (Luton van experience desirable)
- A genuine customer-first attitude — you'll be the face of KB Packaging on every delivery, and we need someone who takes that responsibility seriously
- Counterbalance forklift licence desirable but not essential — full training provided
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks up to 25kg
- Reliable, punctual, and well organised
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional manner
- Able to adapt to changing routes and operational requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is a bonus but absolutely not essential — we welcome applications from all backgrounds and will support the right person to grow into the role
