Grade 12: £25,185 FTE (£17,293 pro-rata) per annum
The Role
We are looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to be the welcoming face of our school and join our office team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will work term time only plus 2 inset days. Hours for this role are 30 per week and working hours will be:
Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 3:30pm (including 1-hour unpaid lunchbreak)
Based in our busy front office, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, parents and carers, creating a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
In this varied role, you’ll handle phone and in‑person enquiries, manage written correspondence, support staff and learners with day‑to‑day administrative tasks and assist with first aid when needed. No two days are the same and your contribution will help keep our school running smoothly.

- Have excellent people skills and enjoy building positive relationships
- Are a confident communicator who can engage warmly with a wide range of people
- Hold 5+ GCSEs (including English and Maths) or an equivalent qualification
- Bring recent, relevant administrative experience
- Have strong IT skills (experience with Arbor is a bonus)
- Present a professional telephone manner and deliver outstanding customer service
- Show a keen eye for detail and take pride in accurate work
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Stay calm, organised and professional in a busy environment
- Can prioritise tasks and manage your time effectively
- Have experience working in a school setting
