Overview
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Mortgage Advisor to join our financial services team. The successful candidate will assist clients in securing suitable mortgage solutions, providing expert guidance throughout the application process. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop a career within the mortgage and financial sector, supporting clients in achieving their property ownership goals. Responsibilities

Assess clients’ financial circumstances to identify suitable mortgage options
Provide expert advice on mortgage products, interest rates, and repayment plans
Guide clients through the entire mortgage application process from initial enquiry to completion
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current market trends, regulations, and lender criteria
Prepare and submit mortgage applications on behalf of clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, and other relevant stakeholders
Keep detailed records of client interactions and transactions in accordance with company policies
Promote additional financial products or services where appropriate to meet client needs

Qualifications

Previous experience within financial services or mortgage advising is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Strong understanding of basic maths and financial calculations
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and confidently
Organised with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and applications
Customer-oriented mindset with a professional approach to client interactions
Ability to work independently whilst maintaining team collaboration when necessary
