Office Services Operator

Salary: £26,227.50 per annum plus company benefits

Location: Newport, South Wales NP10 8UH

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Shifts: 37.5 Hours per week, Monday to Friday with 1 hour unpaid lunch break, working between core hours of 8am to 5pm

Work model: Fully onsite

Williams Lea employees nearly 7000 people worldwide providing efficient business services at client sites in often complex and highly regulated environments, from centralised Williams Lea onshore facilities, and through best cost company offshore locations.

Purpose of role

The role of the Office Services Assistant is a key position in providing services to our client and reporting to the Office Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Deal with all functions of Mail services, sorting, scanning, distributing around the office within SLA's.
Dealing with all incoming Special, Signed for, tracked, Hand deliveries and courier deliveries.
Dealing with all outgoing post, collecting from around the office, booking on systems.
Deal with day to day queries from the inbox and liaise with the client.
General maintenance of copiers
Assist with other tasks within the Office Services team.

Personal Attributes

Previous reception/telephonist/customer service experience
Well presented, with excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong customer focus
IT skills – knowledge of Microsoft packages
Good attention to detail
Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
Ability to plan ahead and anticipate problems
