Job Overview

As Procurement Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day procurement function, acting as the primary point of contact for suppliers, venues, and internal stakeholders. You will manage supplier relationships, coordinate sourcing and tender activities, support cost-saving initiatives, and ensure procurement systems and product information remain accurate and up to date.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role that combines operational procurement, supplier management, data accuracy, commercial reporting, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day procurement activities in line with business priorities.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring high service levels and value for money.
Resolve supplier, pricing, service, and supply issues.
Support strategic sourcing and tender projects.
Identify alternative suppliers and products where required.
Conduct regular supplier and product price reviews.
Monitor supplier performance and compliance with agreed terms.
Maintain accurate product and pricing data across procurement systems.
Investigate and resolve data discrepancies relating to products, pricing, and recipes.
Support the implementation of new products, menus, recipes, and pricing changes.
Produce procurement reports covering savings, supplier performance, risks, and ongoing projects.
Monitor progress against procurement savings targets and performance objectives.
Support operational activities including vehicle administration, utilities management, and sports broadcast bookings.
Collaborate closely with Procurement, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and IT teams to ensure alignment across the business

Skills & Experience

Essential:

Previous experience in a procurement or purchasing management role.
Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities.
Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

Desirable:

Knowledge of Procure Wizard systems.
CIPS qualification or working towards one.
