Our Nursery Community
Our nursery is home to a dog, rabbit, guinea pig, and fish. We believe that caring for animals fosters empathy and understanding in young children, so an enthusiasm for animal care is highly desirable.

You will join a supportive and friendly team, but we also value the ability to work independently. Building strong relationships with the families we support is a key part of this role, so enjoying the creation of close rapports is essential.

Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Observe and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records of their development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and maintain high standards of care.
- Manage behaviour in a positive manner, promoting social skills and emotional well-being among children.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff members effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
- A genuine passion for working with children and understanding their needs.
