Due to the intake we are expecting from the Autumn term 2026, we are looking for a one-to-one learning support assistant to support our team.

Our preschool is nestled in the heart of Stoke Mandeville and has been a cornerstone of early years education in the community for over 40 years. We are passionate about providing a caring, supportive, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Safeguarding is at the core of our preschool’s ethos. Keeping our children safe and supporting our families are our top priorities. Our dedicated team follows the latest Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines, and all staff regularly participate in comprehensive training to ensure we deliver the highest standards of care and education.

1:1 Learning Support Assistant (TERM TIME ONLY)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years.
Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that support children’s development and learning through play.
Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Observe, assess, and support key person's documentation of children’s progress in line with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
Ensure compliance with all safeguarding, health, and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Level 2 Early Years Educator or higher (Desirable).
Minimum of one years' experience working with children with additional support needs
A strong understanding of child development and the EYFS - Desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teamwork.
A commitment to ongoing professional development.
