We're looking for a Barber who will support our residents while delivering an inclusive, culturally aware barbering service within a newly opened and growing centre.
As a Barber at Campsfield IRC, you will deliver professional hair‑cutting and barbering services that meet the varied cultural needs of our resident population. You will maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment while ensuring that all work meets safety, security and contractual standards.
This is a hands‑on, resident‑facing role where you will play a key part in creating a positive atmosphere and supporting the wellbeing of the people in our care.
- Provide high‑quality hair‑cutting and barbering services that reflect the cultural needs of residents and comply with safety, security, and contractual requirements.
- Maintain and develop your skills to ensure all services meet current industry standards.
- Promote the barbering service and manage a fair, transparent booking system for all residents.
- Oversee the workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained, securely stored, and used safely.
- Keep the barbering area clean, tidy, and hygienic at all times.
- Create a positive, respectful and friendly environment where residents feel welcome and valued.
- Complete all administrative tasks and documentation accurately in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Use resources efficiently to ensure a high‑quality, cost‑effective service.
- Provide guidance on equipment and product purchases needed to meet service standards.
- Supervise and coach resident barbers, helping them develop their skills while ensuring safety and security procedures are always followed.
