Join Our Team at The Ultrasound Clinic
The Ultrasound Clinic is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly, professional team.
You will support our Sonographers in delivering high-quality ultrasound scanning services for both private and NHS patients across our clinics in Wrest Park (Silsoe) and Leighton Buzzard.
Full training and support will be provided — previous care experience is desirable but not essential.
About the Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Transporting portable ultrasound equipment from Wrest Park to our satellite clinic (car essential)
- Assisting Sonographers during ultrasound scanning procedures
- Providing excellent patient care and aftercare
- Cleaning equipment and clinic rooms following procedures
- Ensuring clinic rooms are left clean and prepared
- Maintaining stock of clinical disposables with the Clinic Manager
- Adhering to company policies including health & safety, confidentiality and data protection
You will be able to claim non-taxable business mileage at our standard rate.

We are seeking someone who has:
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- A friendly, professional and outgoing personality
- Ability to work effectively within a small team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good IT skills
- The ability to plan and prioritise workload
- Eligibility to reside and work in the UK
- A valid driving licence and access to a car
