Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Painter & Decorator to join our team covering Beds, Bucks, Herts and the London areas.

The Role

We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Painter & Decorator to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating works across a variety of commercial and industrial sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to an exceptional standard.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing surfaces for painting and decorating, including stripping old paint, filling holes and cracks, sanding, and cleaning surfaces
Applying paint, varnish, wallpaper, and decorative finishes to walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces
Measuring work areas and estimating materials required for projects
Protecting surrounding areas, fixtures, and furniture during works
Mixing and matching paints and finishes to achieve the required results
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times
Working closely with clients to ensure all work meets expectations and specifications
Collaborating with other tradespeople including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers when required
Supporting team members on larger projects and planned maintenance works

Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator
Strong skills in painting, wallpapering, and general decorating works
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good organisational and time management skills
PASMA certification (desirable)
Full UK driving licence essential
Positive attitude with a strong commitment to health and safety
