Cutler & Berry is a bespoke kitchen and furniture company specialising in handcrafted, in-frame shaker kitchens and custom cabinetry. We are passionate about quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and creating exceptional pieces that stand the test of time.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner to join our workshop team.

The Role

You will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality bespoke cabinetry and furniture from technical drawings, ensuring every piece meets our exacting standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled craftsman who takes pride in their work and enjoys working on a variety of bespoke projects.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacture bespoke cabinets, furniture, and joinery items to a high standard
Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
Assemble and prepare cabinetry for finishing and installation
Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
Work with a variety of timber and sheet materials
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification
Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process

About YouEssential Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker, Bench Joiner, Furniture Maker, or similar role
Strong woodworking, joinery, and cabinet-making skills
Ability to work from technical drawings
Experience using woodworking machinery and hand tools
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, motivated, and organised

Desirable

Experience manufacturing bespoke kitchens or fitted furniture
Knowledge of traditional joinery techniques
Full UK driving licence
