Why This Opportunity Is Different
This firm has built a highly successful mortgage and protection business within The Openwork Partnership, helping hundreds of clients navigate some of life's most important financial decisions.
The next stage of our journey is clear.
We are launching a dedicated Wealth division and are looking for an exceptional Wealth Director to lead that growth.
Rather than inheriting an existing structure, you'll have the rare opportunity to create one.
You'll design the proposition, establish the operating model, shape the client experience, build the team and drive the growth strategy.
Most importantly, you'll have access to an established and engaged client bank, a strong referral ecosystem and the backing of one of the UK's leading advice networks.
The Opportunity
We're looking for an entrepreneurial Wealth professional who combines commercial acumen with leadership capability.
You'll initially remain hands-on with clients while establishing the foundations of the business, building Assets Under Advice and creating a scalable model capable of supporting future adviser growth.
By the end of 2027, our ambition is to exceed £10 million of Assets Under Advice and establish ourselves as a recognised destination for quality financial planning advice.
You will play the central role in making that happen.

- Established and launched our Wealth proposition.
- Created clear client segmentation and service models.
- Built a consistent referral process across mortgage and protection teams.
- Generated meaningful AUA growth from existing client relationships.
- Implemented robust governance, suitability and servicing standards.
- Positioned the business for adviser recruitment and future scale.
Within 24-36 months you will have:
- Built a thriving Wealth division.
- Recruited and developed additional advisers.
- Established ourselves as a recognised Wealth brand.
Delivered substantial AUA growth and recurring revenue.
-
You're likely to be an experienced Financial Planner, Wealth Manager or Wealth Director who has already built significant Assets Under Advice and now wants more influence over the future direction of a business.
You may currently feel constrained by bureaucracy, lack of autonomy or limited growth opportunities.
This role offers the chance to take ownership, make decisions and build something meaningful.
You'll be equally comfortable discussing complex planning strategies with clients as you are shaping a business plan, mentoring advisers and presenting performance metrics to the board.
You must hold the minimum L4 Diploma in Financial Advice and ideally be Chartered, close to, or willing to become.
