Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Trainee Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.

This position is a job share and will be suitable for a candidate who is looking to work part time only.

Applicant MUST be flexible to cover staff holidays and short notice cover

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, answering their questions, and ensuring their comfort throughout treatments.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information as necessary, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and organised working environment in accordance with health and safety protocols.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient practice operations and high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Proficient IT skills for managing patient records.
A compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on providing a positive experience for all patients.
Previous experience in a dental practice is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
