Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and physically capable Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various manual tasks across our site, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining a safe working environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking hands-on work in a dynamic setting, with the potential for skill development and career progression.

Responsibilities

Assist with loading and unloading materials, ensuring safe handling at all times
Support the organisation and tidiness of the worksite, including waste disposal and storage of tools and materials
Carry out basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning equipment and work areas
Aid in the transportation of goods or equipment within the site using appropriate manual or mechanical means
Follow health and safety protocols diligently to minimise risks and hazards
Support team members with various tasks as directed by supervisors to ensure project deadlines are met

Qualifications

Previous experience in manual labour or construction is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual tasks over extended periods
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a manual labour environment
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment
CSCS required
