We pride ourselves on providing a reliable, professional service and are looking for an experienced Plasterer to join our reactive maintenance team.
The Role
As a Plasterer with DM Homeshield, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of plastering repairs and maintenance works within occupied and void council properties. This is a customer-facing role requiring excellent workmanship, professionalism, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out all aspects of plastering repairs, including patch repairs, skimming, rendering, and making good following maintenance works.
Attend reactive maintenance jobs within council and social housing properties.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
Communicate professionally with tenants, clients, and colleagues.
Identify and report any additional repairs required.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Complete job reports and paperwork accurately.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Plasterer within domestic properties.
Experience working within social housing, council housing, or reactive maintenance environments is highly desirable.
Ability to undertake all aspects of plastering work.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Relevant trade qualifications preferred but not essential with proven experience.
